well my queschan is simple ...can i use the parts out of v6 world class to make my v8 nwc to wc ...i like the gears in the v 8 one so that what i m thinking to use...what exsacly makes v6 t5 weaker lower tq rate than v8 one where is the diference???

Run the NWC V8 box if it is still good. If it gives you a few years of use, great.

The V6 headset stays and swaps all together other than 5th can be changed by itself. The countershaft is 4-3-2-1 in a row and all one piece.

My first T5 was an 84 TA unit that worked fine. My next was an 88 LB9 unit. Same ratios. I gained nothing because the first wasn't broken.

Reason I'm asking is cose there is wc t5 at the wrecking yard out of v6 I can get it king a cheap ... Wanted to use the parts from it to convert my v8 one to wc...it's nothing wrong so far ...car runs 14.0 seems to hold just fine ...a little slow on the shifts...wanted to change at least sinchros

Doesn't work like that.

Cheep is too much if it's not what you actually want. And V6 ratios aren't what you want.

You cannot convert a NWC to a WC. Also the V6 ratios with your reat will be terrible.

oh well enouth sed...thanx for the responce guys...bethre ask than by and regret afterwords...i will just rebuild my curent one...transmisions are actualy the only one thing i nevere delt with...but it fills like is time to freshin this one up so its time to lurn!thank you again
