t5 swap/4th gen rearend/ just got car on the road
As the title says. I just got done building the car. It has a 4th gen rearend with 3.73's and a factory t5 out of a camaro. (My car was originally an auto) I took the gear off the speed in my auto and put it on the speedo for the t5. Thinking that would do the trick for keeping the speedo accurate. Well the speedo doesnt start reading until im going about 25 mph then the speedo says im doing 10 mph. And if im going about 45mph it says im doing 30mph.. any ideas of what is causing this? I doubt its the gears. Because is my 4th gen when I had 3.73s the speedo would read 90 when im doing 70. Its the opposite in my 3rd gen. Other option is that my speedo is broke lol

You should take a look at the T5 drive/driven gear sticky at the top of this forum, it will help you figure out what driven gear you need. I know the drive gears between the T5 and the 700r4 are different, which would lead me to believe you need a different driven gear.
You will also need to know which drive gear you have in the T5, blue or red. Fingers crossed its the blue one because i think you need a combo based on the blue drive gear.
