Hi, I'm working on a 700R4 for the first time. I was taking the valves out of the valve body and when I got to the TV limit valve I pulled the roll pin out and the spring and what ever was in front of it came flying out. The valve was still in the body, I found the spring but I could not find a plug. I have another valve body so I took the TV limit valve out of it to use but its a different set up. The valve at top of pic. is out of the valve body I want to use, the lower one is out of the spare valve body. In all of the drawings that I can find all of the TV limit valves look like the bottom valve. My question is, can I just use the valve at bottom of pic instead of the one that came out? If not what am I missing from the top valve assembly? I assume at least a plug. Both transmissions are post 87's

No, they are not interchangeable.
