Cahall Performance Transmision
Thought Id throw this out there since I talked to him earlier in the day. Have my 421 stroker comming soon and I need a tranny. Expecting 600hp at the crank and its set up for 200 nos. So finding a tranny that will hold together is a tall order. Esp a 700r4. Looking into his background and alot of trannys he has done for the impala ss crowd with the simaler 4l60e Im basically sold on his trannys. 4000+lb cars clicking off 9 sec ets is enough for me to make a decision he makes a bullitproof unit. Here is his site:

Click the customer link for the ets. Price is way better than others. Answered all my questions. Another option for anyone looking for a 700r4.

Re: Cahall Performance Transmision
We did not agree on much of anything, but he seems to be building some pretty good units from what reviews I have seen. I have not heard of anything about him building a 700R4. Some of the top builders I know will build the 4L60E to hold some horsepower, but will not build a 700R4 with anything putting out some good power. 800FWHP is asking a lot out of these units. It can be done with the right parts and not spending a whole lot of money. I know what I would charge for building one of these units to hold the horsepower you are wanting to achieve here. You will have to see what he says and how much.
