700r4 goes out in OD
Hello! just had a recent problem with my transmission. My flywheel broke entirely on the inside, preventing me to start and drive my camaro. Got it fixed, now i have other problems.
While I replaced the flywheel, I dropped the pan and added new fluids. Previously, the transmission shifted hard and long, so I added lucas anti slip fluid. Did the trick for a while.
Anyways, got the new fluid in and the transmission shifts much better than before with very minimal slippage and no more hard shifting. However when the transmission goes into overdrive, it'll catch for a while and then as soon as the RPM's get lower, it goes out of gear entirely. The engine will idle much lower than the normal and runs poorly with a foul smelling exhaust. Then the problem is corrected by being put into park, turning the car off, and turning it back on, then its back to normal until it goes into overdrive again. When going in 3rd transitioning into 4th a high pitch leak from somewhere can be heard while driving.
The problem doesnt occur when the car is being driven in normal drive.
What can i do/check to possibly fix this? any help is appreciated
Thanks
