V6 Transmission to V8 Transmission
Hey everyone, hope this is in the right forum.
I will soon be switching out the 700r4 behind my 2.8 and replacing it with another 700r4 from a V8. Will the new trans bolt in exactly the way the V6 trans fit? This is to the car itself, not to the engine, as I know the 60 degree transmissions have different parts than 90 degree.

To the car, yes. (assuming of course that it's a Camaro/Firebird transmission... if not, you'll need the extension housing off of your 6-cyl one)
To the engine, it will not bolt up.

Yeah, it's coming out of an f-body. Don't know what year it is, though.
