Shifter hits console?
In my '89 firebird which the previous owner put a thirdgen Camaro center console on I've got a t5 with pro 5.0 shifter- the shifter hits the forward part of the console. I've tried flipping the shifter and with the letters backwards to the driver is the only way it goes in all the gears. I know the t5s lean towards the driver. Is this an issue with the Camaro console or? Tranny and engine are bolted down so I don't see what else could be the issue.
