700r4 overdrive acting up
What would make my overdrive shift slow / sluggish? Once in overdrive it feels ok but under any amount of load it wants to down shift. When it does downshift it doesn't feel right unless I floor it, then it drops right down and goes. If I ease into the throttle it acts as if it wants to downshift but almost acts like it gets between 3rd & 4th. My revs come up but it doesn't go back to third unless I give it some extra throttle. My other shifting is fine, trans is out of my 4wd pickup, worked fine there. I'm running a Hughes 2500 stall with lockup, has all the usual updates, corvette servo, boost valves. Its set up with pressure switch to activate lock up only in 4th. Any ideas?

How is the adjustment on your shift cable?

Its set up right, its pulled all the way at WOT...I do use one of those little spings on the end of my cable to get my pressure up quicker, if I don't it will stack shift something fierce. Even with that, shifts are too quick for my taste. I have a Holley with the geometry corrector and the Holley cable bracket...
