Grinding noise felt in gas pedal???
Like the title says, I heard a grinding noise when launching (as much as I can without a posi) my car on the street, but I could feel the vibaration in the gas pedal. It happened a year and approx. 2500 miles ago but hadn't reoccurred again until yesterday. The noise came from the front/bottom of the car. I don't know if this matters but the transmission doesn't have a flywheel cover. If anybody has a clue I'd appreciate it.

I just had this problem occur Sunday. Someone told me that it may be the flywheel or starter. Maybe thats something that we could start with.

Were you accelerating hard? Something tells me its transmission related, maybe I'll do a flush this weekend and see if there's crap in it.

Re: Grinding noise felt in gas pedal???
I found the cause, it turns out my transmission mount is cracked pretty bad and the u joint would hit the exhaust heat shield and floorpan during acceleration.
