Aftermarket Diffs
I have a reasonable 408sbc and Th350 setup and the original 7.5 inch 26 spline diff is week and i need new gear set also.
Got my eyes on a 9 inch ford ,,a GM 8.5 inch 10 bolt or a 12 bolt setup.
Are there any reputable outfits making bolt in diffs with the torque rod bracket OTHER than Moser,, Hawks 8.5 Gm, or currie, or Strange.
I am situated in LA and @$4000 plus freight there must be somone out there doing it a bit cheaper,,i dont need willwood brakes or alloy carriers,a basic 9 inch LSD with Chev bolt pattern brakes will do fine.

Re: Aftermarket Diffs
Have you checked with Quick Performance? Their 9 inch rear ends are usually cheaper than others.
Mark Williams makes a really nice 12 bolt, but at a higher price than the others.

Re: Aftermarket Diffs
Could get a moser housing and axle package, last time I looked it was about a grand. Then just pickup a center section and go. Can get a junkyard piece, might find so.ething good, or an aftermarket setup with all the goodies. Maybe an ebay or Craigslist find too.
