How can I soften my shift kit?
Hello everyone I bought an 89 Camaro a while ago and it had a shift kit already in it. It wasn't so bad as 1-2 is really hard but the rest are good so I was just letting off the gas from 1-2 and it was good.
However it's pretty annoying to constantly do so I'm wondering if there's a way to soften the 1-2 shift? It's so hard the tires brake lose it caused the car to slide out a couple weeks ago. It also shifts super heard from park or neutral to reverse or drive I saw the tires actually spin when it shifted.
Im most likely going to do a flush again as it had some very thin clear fluid in it and it ruined the first flush. So if I have to take the pan off its not a big deal but is there anything i can do to soften these shifts?

While the pan is down check the 2nd accumulator. It may be that the spring broke or that it is blocked. Easy fix if so.
