Transmission
I'm researching my 89 Formula Firebird. I just received my copy of the original dealer invoice. The RPO MXO automatic was listed. I'm not sure if this is the 700 or 200. I thought it was a 200. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Transmission
If it's a V8, it was a 700.
Of course you could always just look at the pan. Complicated I know; butt hay...
Also, if memory serves, it's MX0, not MXO.

Right:
And since a Formula didn't come with either of the possible 6-cyl options, it's a moot point anyway.
D00d is about 99.9999% certain to have a 700.
