What are you having trouble with?

There's many variables that you likely will never touch that are defined.

Most of the time it's VE and spark table tuning.

Sorry if this was already asked, but is this for a carbed or fuel injected 2.8?

u can do it on a carbed v6 as well but u would need to buy a edelbrock 4bbl intake and swap on a holley 390cfm no vacum secondary carb , and modify it for boost

much better off just swaping in a fuel injected v6 first since the carbed v6 has a weaker crank in it

What do you do with the vacuum lines? will it work if leave them how they are stock and will the brake booster still work? will i to have to doo any tuning to the ecu if i am only running 7psi of boost and it looks like you changed the o2 sensor, can i use the stock one?

This is an old an outdated thread. But anyway, 7-psi is approximately a 50% increase in power. It's not the matter of the ECU handling the boost, but your injectors,.If your engine is making roughly 150 horsepower, and you throw 7-psi of boost at it, you are looking at about 225 horsepower. That requires at a minimum of about 18# fuel injector flow. So there are two ways that you can do this using your original equipment with a few additions. One, you can tune (or have tuned) your factory 15# injectors at 65-psi of fuel pressure which will give you your 18# fuel flow... which I honestly don't recommend, and two, keep evrything as is and buy a Vortech adjustable fuekl pressure regulator which will increase fuel flow whenever needed (in boost), this was you can leave your factory tune as is. In your case I would go with the latter. The right way of course would be to install the proper sized injectoirs, wideband, and updated ECU, and tune it to perfection, but at just 7-psi of boost, you don;t really need to re-invent the wheel. Take your pick... just remember to back timing down a tad and lock it if you go the non tuned way.

As for the vacuum lines, use check valves where and whenever needed.
