Re: Z-27
F41 was an option, back in the early 80s.
Why it would be on the inside of a bumper cover is beyond me though....

Re: Z-27
Z-27's are pretty common - who knows, maybe it is a Canada only thing?
Far as I can tell, it's a Z-28 - except without 8 cylinders. Cool decals, cool body kit, good suspension - just no *****.
Does anyone on here have one to correct this??

No - it is not.
3rd gen Z-27s' were common. They had goofy stickers to prove it. I've seen many of them.

z-27 may have been more of a Canadian thing here is a post on a Canadian form about some dealers adding the stickers to promote sales.

Re: Z-27
F-41 was a suspension option. The F-41 decals on SCs have something to do with factory-stock racing.

Re: Z-27
Hi guys, just a quick question.. I have a 1982 Z28. It is an export version so it came without the rear spoiler. I guess the previous owner put an sc spoiler on it just like this car has. What year did the sc's have this spoiler and is it rare? Don't see them a lot. Thanks!

Re: Z-27
z-27 was an ss option code for norwood built 67-71 camaros and was dropped. then later the berlinetta was dropped in 86. in 87 they started the LT and the z27 started up again but with a different option meaning it was basicly a sport coupe with 15" steel wheels a high output v6 with a close ratio t5 standard(basicly a v8 t5 with v6 input shaft) and with a choice of posi or open 3.42 rear axle and a goofy looking wrap around rear spoiler(that wasn't on any other f-body) .option was for 87 and 88 also most of them where canadian built.....this info came from my one neighbor whom is a retired chevy dealer salesman with 42 years under his belt with them and a lot of old sales brochures(and no he won't part with them. he won't even let take a picture of them. he's afraid they will fade) also there is talks of gm bring the option code back for a third time in 2012. don't know how true it is though. also my neighbor just that option "THE POOR MANS Z28"
