Blinking headlights.

While going to work, my headlights blinked a couple of times and went out for about 2 seconds then back on. I've checked the ground leads for the headlights that are on the car body above the lights. The engine ground(s) seem tight. The ONE weird thing is that when the headlights were blinking in and out, the dash lights blinked as well. I'm thinking its in the light switch or the harness going to it. A fusable link maybe or a ground back behind the dash trim panel. Anyone have this happen before?

Re: Blinking headlights.

Never seen it happen to our cars but i know the 89 caprice(i have one) has a switch very similar to ours and it would do that every once in a while. I would also check to make sure the harness right after the light hasnt came apart at all or gotten corrosion in it. I personally hate electrical. Like they say these cars a full of lil things to fix.
