Gas Smell?

Gas Smell?
Just kind of been looking around on the forums for quite a while. But anyways heres my dilemma.
My car has a sluggish start. I have to gas it if its from a cold start after that its fine. But the car has a terrible gas smell once i start it, that slowly fades away.
I've changed the distributor cap, ignition coil, and fuel filter so far. Just wondering what I can do to maybe make the start up easier? Or what the gas smell can be?

Re: Gas Smell?
If it's fuel injected, try cleaning the mass air flow sensor. Local autoparts store usually has it. My mom was complaining of that to, not in a camaro but her v6 maxima. I cleaned the (maf) smell went away and runs way better
