v6 iron / ally exhaust headers and PSI Q?
in the long run i will eventually have the ally top end, will i be wasting money buying the iron head pacesetters ? will they fit the ally heads ?
also if i run the irons at 5-7psi what power can i achieve for modest drivability ?
thanks

Can't really say the gains for 5 or 6psi. Alot else needs to be taken account for. But a iron head stock 3.1 with 6 psI would be sone where arround 180 210 hp tops with a small t3/4 turbo

I would say at 10psi I am probably in the neighborhood of 250hp give or take. Thats on an iron head 2.8 with a full T3 turbo. So Mark is probably pretty damn close with that number. 190-200 I would say depending on the efficiency(compressor map) of the turbo in question. The tune will have alot to do with it as well.

If you're going turbo, the Pace Setter headers will be a waste of money, since they are designed for N/A applications and run the exhaust like an N/A application.
You will need to make custom headers, or have someone make them for you, regardless of what heads you use.

There will most likely be differences in boost pressures comparing turbocharged to supercharged. Fasteddie, SixShooter and I are all referring to turbos.
Not being too familar with the specifics on superchargers, but going off the same principal, more air in, more air out. You may want large primary headers. I don't know the sizes on the Pacesetters. But you will definitely want free flowing exhaust in any boost application.

Yea I assumed a turbo application, but if your just supercharging it then get better headers and exhaust in general. For a supercharger, i dont know the HP youll gain or can i even guess at it. Are you going with a M90 supercharger?

iirc the s10 headers need the rear primary tube on the passengerside moved a lil bit to clear the ac/heater box
