Ports on rear of V6 2.8 MPFI Intake Manifold?
Hey guys.
Im putting a V6 2.8 MPFI into a TR7. Yep, but Im British so I get off the hook because Im "eccentric". Anyhoo, Ive signed up to the forum because Im going to need help with the motor.
Ive fitted the motor (yes it fits) but there's a couple of ports on the back of the inlet manifold that have got me flummoxed. One looks like a water port male connector, like on a radiator. The other is just a "hole", about an inch diameter with one single threaded bolthole (M10 I think) next to it.
No idea what these are for. Having a hard time finding manuals or diagrams. When I got the engine it wasnt in its donor vehicle so I can't compare. I would upload a pic except the forum wont let me.
Can anyone help?

It seems it's the cold start injector housings.
What I though was a "water port" is a vacuum port that tees to the left bank breather and then to the IAC. The "hole" is where the cold start injector goes and the bolt hole is there to hold the injector in place.
(With thanks to zs&tas)
