C5 Z06 17x9.5 replica wheel question
i'm wanting to go with a set of the C5 Z06 17x9.5 chrome replica wheels for my 92 stock thirdgen, i'm pretty sure after reading multiple threads on this subject that the spacers I need are 1.5" front and rear
just want to make 100% sure on this before I order a so I don't have to return anything...where's the best place to get a deal on the spacers? ebay?
the wheels i'm looking at

Re: C5 Z06 17x9.5 replica wheel question
so ive been finding threads recommending 1.5" spacers with these wheels, and a few that recommended 2" spacers. So i'm thinking maybe split the difference and go with 1.75" spacers..
do any of you guys think that'll be ok?
I just have the stock third gen 92 front and 10 bolt rear with rear disc brakes

With the 56 offset you need at least 2" on the front if not slightly more. There is a interference problem with the strut/tie rod end if you get too little spacer. Zero offset total worked well with my 17x9.5 zr1. 1.5" spacers will work fine in the back.
This is my setup. 38 offset with 1.5" spacers front and rear.

I did two inch spacers all the way around I thnk, looks and works great. Never a problem, may need to roll your fender lips though depending on hoy low you are

On my C6 wheels I had 2" spacers all the way around with an extra 1/8" shim up front. You may not need a shim.

Just in case you're not aware... the wheels in the picture are actually 4th gen Camaro SS 10-spokes, not z06 wheels. They're very similar and the pic works for "it will look like this" compqarisons, so I'm not sure if that was all that was intended... But just in case you'd be happier with the other wheels I figured you might want to know.
I liked the hubcentric adapters I got from lugs-n-stuff on ebay a lot. They fit very nicely on the car hub and the wheel hub.

Re: C5 Z06 17x9.5 replica wheel question
you need 2" Spacers all around.. possibly like they said 1/8th shim up front for a lil bit more space.. If you have a 4th gen rear.. then you don't need spacers in the back. i have the 17x9.5s up front with 265s.. and 18x10.5s in rear with 295s

Agree with others who say 2" and a shim up front. I'm running the same rims and at full lock the tie rod will hit the inner edge of the wheel. I also get some rubbing in the wheel well with 275 BFG Sport Comp 2s. I don't have a 1/8" shim but that would fix the problem.

70.5mm Hub Bore
12x1.5 Wheel Studs
some companys are actually charging $300 total for (4) spacers...that just seems insane to me

Re: C5 Z06 17x9.5 replica wheel question
I dont know what offset those are... so I have no idea. My ZR1's needed 2" up front and 1.25" in back. Note, however, that I have a brake upgrade on the fronts, and the thickness of the rotor is added to the "stack". For 98-02 brakes, the rotor is .300" thick, so that negates the need for a 2.25" adapter. I just dont know what you need, though.
But 70.5mm bores is definitely correct.
