Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

I've been looking for a set of wheels similar to stock irocs for a while for my 87 IROC-Z and I've found a good deal on some I'm interested in but I have no idea if they'll fit and if they need any add ons to make them fit. They're 18"x8" wheels with lug pattern 5x114.3 and tire size is 235x50x18. Thank you!

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

No Chevy bolt pattern is 5 -120.65. That's a Nissan, dodge and a few others bolt pattern. Plus that's a tall tire. Look for something around 245-40-18 for the front and 275-45-18 in that back with as close to 0 offset

What am I wrong about? I have owned many Nissans through the years and their bolt pattern is 5.114.3. And I have owned 3 3rd gens camaros and Chevys bolt pattern is 5-120.65. So please explain where I'm wrong

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

Well they do make adapters for 5-114.3 to 5-120.65. A lot will depend on the off set of the wheels. Do you know what it is?

These are the same design of wheels I'm interested in but the ones I may be purchasing are 18"

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

foose makes that wheel with 18x8 +15mm and with 5x120, you will be better off running with that and a 1/2in spacer with longer studs

spacers will cost you about 80 studs 30. installation is simple. hammer the old ones out pull the new ones in

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

So being that I will be buying these wheels used in 5x114 variant it seems to fit I will need adapters, half inch spacers, and longer studs correct?

no, my suggestion for the spacers and studs in to buy the rims brand new in the correct bolt pattern but wrong offset and use the spacers to correct the incorrect offset.

if you are buying these rims from joey bagodonuts down the street, scratch what i said and you need to figure out what offset they are so you can properly purchase the correct adapter with the proper spacing.

a spacer does not change the bolt pattern, it just corrects offset. when a large spacer is used the studs must be extended for proper lug nut threading.

an adapter changes the bolt pattern from XonXXX to XonXXX ALSO adding spacing. new studs are not needed

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

The owner of the wheels doesn't know the offset how do I measure what it is?

Re: Foose wheels on my IROC-Z

should be stamped on the back ET XX or get the part number off the back, if they were on a mustang (2010 just a guess) it would be liek a +30 or 40mm

Don't deal with Buloushie, This scum bag ripped me off. Hes going to take the money that he stole from me and buy a part from you. If he even pays you. This is fair warning for anyone dealing with this piece of sh*t.
