When Jamex was in the US market they were a reasonably priced alternative to Eibach. I had a set on order, but couldn't get them because Jamex had closed their warehouse a few weeks before. If you can find someone that still has stock or is willing to put together an order and import them go for it. I know several local guys that have them and are very happy with them. Otherwise Eibach (what I bought), Imtrax or Hotchkiss are all good choices IF you are looking to set the car up for corner carving. If you are more concerned with drag racing, then MOOG, new GM springs or Eibach Drag Launch are better choices.

Make sure you get the eibach springs for a v-6. I ended up with the ones for a v-8 car and they jacked the car up 3in in the front from stock ride height. The rears were a good inch higher, but settled to about 1/2 below stock height. I cut 1/2 a coil off the front and they are finally 1/2 below stock height. I want to cut some more off, but I'm planning a v-8 swap and don't want them to bottom out.

And yes they were installed correctly.

I would hope so. Well when my boyfriend called Eibach to raise a stink. They said it happened because of the weight diff b/w the 2 cars. They made it sound like they offer a kit. Not sure though. You may want to consider the sportline kit. It is suppoed to drop the car more. The v-8 sportline kit on a 6 might drop the car like a proline kit would drop and 8. Or you may end up with a higher rearend.

Your best bet is to call Eibach and ask a tech guy. See what they offer. As for what we did. Even with the v-8 springs being cut the ride is still good. The car is definately stiffer. I got all new suspension and bushings, bigger sway bars, strut tower brace, subframe connectors, aftermarket control arms and adj. panhard bar. Can't wait to try out the curvy roads.
