Tremec TKO VS T56

I'm looking into a tremec or t56 swap for my 3rd gen camaro. Does anybody have any hard info on the strength of one vs the other? I'm about to buy one, although i would like the high overdrive of the t56 durability is my first concern

OK the T56 is rated at 450 ftlbs, and the TKO five speed had 500 ftlbs of torque asa rating. Personally I have hears of an extremely larger amount of power being run on both of them. I've seena 750 horse behind a T-56...the Tiger Shark and a nove drag car with 900 horse with a TKO. If you want the overdrive go for it, I think she will live with whatever street application you have in mind

xxwarrior36xx numbers are pretty close. I have had both, put in a T56 and run a 3.73 or 4.10 gear.

There are a couple of companies that sell a bolt in T56 for our cars. Both are going to cost you about $2K.
