I was wondering, has anyone seen this besides me? I've been wondering about it ever since I saw the ad in CHP. It seems sound in theory, but at 90$ I think it's a bit much... although, if I knew it would work I'd be tempted to buy it. I mean, it sounds like it would work.... what do you guys think???
I was thinking the same things as you, im sure it works but 90 bucks is alot of money, im sure if u have a lot of miles on your car it is a pretty good investment.
When i used the stock size filter (PF 25), I would put an old speaker magnet on the bottom of the filter. It would stay on for a few years. If I had to drive through snow or deep water it would come off. I haven't tried it on the long filter (PF 35)

They have had different versions of magnetic devices that fit on filters they have been selling a band of magnets that go arround the filters in JC whitney.
The only time i would think it would work is at a idle when the oil isn't moving at a fast rate.
I think it would be a good piece but I don't know how much I would pay for it though.
$90.00 is a lot of money for just a magnet that wraps around your filter, but it sounds like a good idea, I knew an old man that drove an old 58 Chevy and he would ducktape several strong flat magnets to his filter.
