I have Crager SS 17X9 in the rear with 5 1/2" back spacing witha a 275/40/17 tire and they fit perfect with chance of rubbing. With the right back spacing you should be able to fit the 15X10 under the fender, but a 12" tire I think will rub.

I just put 11" wide with 5.5" backspacing Centerlines on mine and they do not rub, this may be because I just put new shocks and springs on tha back. Tha bad thing with reallly wide tires is that they stick out of tha fenderwells and you will end up looking like a ******* if you aren't careful, Id go with 11" wide, thats plenty unless you are building it for strictly drag racing it
