40 HP, but the strain on the alt will likely kill it in short order.

A mechanicaly sound electric forced air induction unit doesn't seem feasible to me.
That's also sounds about as much of a hoax as one ofthose ***** Air spinny velocity units that I saw in sport compact car but they thought the same thing and had the company's rep come and dyno test one of those things and the results ad I remember showed completely wacked out results, from one dyno run to another the power output fluctuated all over the place.
But whatever it still sounds like a good old made in china piece of shiiiiiiiit!

http://www.electricsupercharger.com/
And the source from what I found to be a big load of Shiit!
Look at this demonstration.http://www.electricsupercharger.com/.../eramvideo.mpg
WOW it can blow a log that's a new one and look at the dumbass testing it.
I would imagin that the thing would be loud while in operation.
I feel sorry for those ricers if they buy this crap.

if you read the entire thing it says not effective on engines over 5 litres anyway. susposedly if you use 2 in line it will make a difference but i dont see how it possibly could.
