Holley / Wieand misleading product info

Well someone somewhere is screwing with the product details.

goto holley..com and it says my new intake is a stealth.

part# 8004

http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLi.../AMSM/8004.html

Weiand Stealth
Intake Manifold
Chevrolet 262, 283, 305, 307, 327, 350, 400 V8
1962-86 All Models; 1987-Later w/ Aluminum Heads

But when it arrives on the back of box says different. [They got a chart with all the intakes onthe back.]

on the back of the box its called a stock replacement action plus intake.

Either the box is old and wrong or holley is calling them all stealths to jack up the price.

--------------------------

worst part is, I was getting a good running v8 free for helping a friend pull and change 3 engines. but now hes being a dill weed and I told him to stick his engine where the sun dont shine.

how can I honestly sell this sucker when I dont even know what I bought.

--------------------------

Checking JEGS catalog they have it listed as an action plus intake. priced at 152.99

kinda good news I did not pay that much.

im still pissed, I wanted a stealth

Im gonna send them a nasty email. I would not have bought it if I knew it was not a stealth. And you can guess that i got it on ebay but i only bid so much cause holley said it was a stealth.

And I dont have a free v8 anymore.

bunch of crap.

Send it back and tell them it is an Action Plus, not a Stealth that you ordered. I don't know what you payed, but in the Jegs Catalog, the AP is 96.99, the Stealth is 107.99. Tell them you should get the Stealth for what ever you actually paid. That is the price advertised, and so that is what they should sell it for. It may or may not work.

My intake says Stealth on it, how about you?

Sorry Gumby,
I thought you bought it through Jegs, and they sent the wrong intake. That is why I said send it back. I think you will come out at least even on eBay.

yea I just wanna get my money back. dont think too many around here would want an action plus so I went with ebay.

that place can suprise you sometimes, you can find gold half price and sell coal for the price of gold.

I had some old motorcycle parts, side covers n some body pieces, batt. box and some engine covers. I only asked 30 buck which was a fair price, set of side covers will cost 20 bucks. someone bid them up to 91.01, like wow

Holley has yet to fix the site, even after a few emails. they list ever intake as a stealth now. What kind of crap are they trying to pull.

after repeated emails holley still has yet to update the site. I think they are up to something. maybe a few more emails from some of you might convince them to do the right thing and change the site??? That or an out right ban of their products.
