Stage 8 Header Bolts

On a long trip this weekend I lost one header bolt and almost lost 2 more. Has anyone tried the Stage 8 locking header bolts? How well do they work and how hard are they to get on and off around the headers?

Can't use them on SLP headers! I wound up just using the bolts without the locks. Now I have $40 header bolts...woohoo!!

Why couldn't you get the locks on the SLP headers?

I have Stage 8's on my SLP 1-3/4" headers. It is necessary to file down the Stage 8 "lock washer" on a couple of the bolts. This procedure is outlined in the Stage 8 instructions. Two years and going strong -- never had to retighten any of the bolts.
