Has anyone used the Jegs brand aluminum heads? they say 220cc intake runners, offset intake rockers, 64cc combustion chambers, 2.1" intake valves and 1.6" exhaust valves.
They sell for $689.99 assembled and $479.99 bare.
that seems extremely cheap for Aluminum heads, and they're ever 220cc runners. Anyone use these? I have an 87+ roller block, so I figure I'd have to get the bare heads, and redrill the head bolts to line up with the holes on my block. Just wondering if these are good/bad or useless. Thanks.

According to the specs in Jegs, I think they would be awesome on a bigger cube engine. I think the fact they require so many "offset" parts puts them out for me. If I was building a 406 or larger, I would look closer at them. The price seems right too.

I was planning on making a 383 with forced induction, so, these heads look right up my alley. I was just wondering if anyone had these so I would know what all is involved with putting them on, I know the offset roller rockers. and I would need to redrill the middle holes. anything else I would have to consider before being able to bolt these heads on? They look awesome for the price. Thanks.

I thought that was per head, so you would need 2
unless I read it wrong
220cc head wow, that is huge, that wouldn't work well on most 350s.
ah ha! that's what I didn't see :-p I didn't see those 2 oh-so-important letters (ea.). Thanks for pointing that out. Still, not that bad of a price for 220cc aluminum heads...I'm just wondering how good they are because they're a "generic" brand.

Actually, a while back somebody said those heads were actually made by cranfield?
