Car: 1982 Z28/1987 IROC Engine: Vortec 350/ZZ3 Transmission: 7004r/7004r | My Powertrax product review Ok, first of all, it should be a crime it's so easy to install. I read the instruction manual and realized this installation will be about as difficult as an oil change.
It did however end up taking me 4 hours to do it because I took extra time to check out my whole differential. After installation and passing the testing steps for the locker we took it for a rip. I was expecting ungodly traction, but that wasn't the case, although it wasn't the lockers fault, my tires aren't all that great. the car still easily revs up to 4500 rpm off the line while spinning like a mofo
very cool to have two going though and it takes off a lot harder than it did.
turning is not a problem at all, I cannot even hear the indexing click unless I stick my head out the window and listen for it. very nice.
engagement of the clutches is a lot more smooth that I thought as well.
All in all I am happy with my purchase so far.
A good deal in my book. | | | |
