Does anyone have any experience with this? Does it work as well as I've heard...and is it a hassle to install? I'm changing the carpet soon...thinking about laying this underneath the pad for a little extra sound deadening. I've heard and read great stuff about it...just wondering if anyone else has any stories to relate.

If it's anything like dynomat expect to be adding a good amount of weight to you car by installing it. If you can go without it I would, simply for the weight savings.
I used the accumat on a couple of projects, it does work very well and the weight is not an issue unless you are serious drag racer. I weighed a box of AMT 045 that had and 8 sheets of 24" by 27" it was approx 15lbs. The AMT 045 works well for side panels and doors and the AMT 250 works well for under carpet. I put the AMT 045 on the inside of the doors of my IROC and now they dont sound so horrible when they are closed. I used the 250 under the carpet as well. As far as install goes it is not too difficult but a little hard on the fingers. Make sure that what ever you are putting it on is in good condition, like rusty floor pans for example, because I would not want to try and take it off once it is stuck on. It is a lot better than Dynamat, which tends to peel off and emmit odors when it gets hot.
