Goodmark Hoods

Does anyone have or seen one of these hoods? What kind of quailty are they? For those that don't know it is a steel cowl hood. http://www.goodmarkindustries.com/HomePage.html

Check www.NEThirdgen.org, I think Jim is trying to test the waters for a GP on these hoods. He may be familiar with them.

EDIT: BTW, love your fractions statement

I just got one a few weeks ago and I have no complaints on it. I like it much better than fiberglass ones because most fiberglass ones aren't finished underneath. Mine is glossy underneath so it looks sweet. One thing though is that while it says it is a 2inch hood, it is actually three, I'm not sure where they came up with 2. As far as fit, I had one problem. The rear part of the hood on the passenger side was a little higher than the rest of the car. All I had to do was adjust those little rubber things that the hood rests on and now it is barely noticeable. Hope this helps.

JM, can you take some pictures and post them? I'm contemplating becoming a distributer for Goodmark and doing a group-purchase type thing, but I want to see some installed pics first. Thanks!

Thanks! I appreciate it. Goodmark still hasn't gotten back to me, so I might just go ahead and sign up to become a distributer. There's nothing that says I can't sign up then just not buy anything.

You gotta upload them to a website then link them here. If you don't have a website, you can email a couple of them (as long as they aren't huge) to me and I'll put them up.

I purchased one of these hoods a few days ago. I have one thing to say, it is an awesome looking hood!!! I bought mine damaged, but it is very minor damage. The hood fit great, and looks great!! If you are looking to buy a steel hood, than this is it!! If you are in the Wichita, Ks area Muscle Car Memories carries these hoods. They where very good to work with!! See ya!
