Car: 1988 Trans Am WS6 Engine: 5.0L TPI Transmission: 4spd Auto | Suncoast Creations Hoods + Fiberglass spoilers
I'm thinking of getting a ram air hood for my '88 T/A and I want a functional one, otherwise why bother, right. so far, this is the only one i know of that comes functional right out of the box. I may be in the wrong forum, but i'm wondering if the air box and, more importantly, the intatke track to the throttle body can be ordered for or will work with a MAF equipped engine. I have no real desire to switch to speed density in the first place, let alone shell out more money to make this hood work.
Also, I'm still wondering about those reproduction fiberglass spoilers, the ones with the links from here all over the place. I hear they're pretty good quality and, as i assumed, worlds ahead of the rubber POS stock ones in quality and durability. Any comments on that topic are welcome. Mostly i'm wondering what anyone has paid, or been quoted, for one of these. there's some spoiler on NextGen for something like $500, but i'd like to know what other prices/places are out there. | | | |
