| The Torsen diff will indeed fit the ~89+ 10 bolt rear axles. From approximately 89, the oem Auburn diff for the 10 bolts was made for 28 spline axles. Prior to 89, the 26 spline axles were used and won't go into teh Torsen diff. Therefore, your 10 bolt axle must be an 89+ to have the 28 spline shafts to fit the Torsen. Otherwise, you'd have to buy new axle shafts as well.
Another point, the 3.73's gears must be for a 3 series carrier which the Torsen is. There ares some 3.73's that are made to fit the 2 series carriers.
To verify spline count, you must pull an axle shaft and physically count the splines.
