Car: 85 Mercedes 500SEL Engine: 5.0 DOHC | Banks cat back from TPIS
Hey all, just a heads up. The Banks cat back that TPIS has on their garage sale page for $250.00 will not fit without mods. They advertise it for the 83-85 4 bolt cat, (which is what I need) The parts list sheet shows a flanged intermediate pipe which was not included, instead they sent me a pipe for a duel cat car. After shipping that pipe back (out of my own pocket) they sent back the pipe for a TBI car. (slip on, no flange) I think it will work with some mods, but they have been very unpleasant to deal with. Watch out!
