WE GOT 10!!! You can still get in if you want the hood for $420
Ramairhood.com which is a board sponsor has just gave the go ahead on a group purchase of the Third Generation Camaro hood. Unfortunately they are not able to do it on the Firebird hood right now. The hood list for $595.00 but they already have it reduced to $495.00 If we get 5 buyers they will reduce it to $445.00 and if they get 10 buyers they will reduce it to $420.00.
My goal is for ten buyers to get in and take advantage of this incredible low price. You will not find a brand new hood for this price anywhere so take advantage while it lasts!
Currently its just the functional hood that is for sale in the group purchase. The airboxes, paint and shipping are extra but can be ordered the same time as the hood.
So far just post here if interested and I will gather additional info at a later time.
The GP will run till Saturday, March 13. This will allow us to get your info and have it shipped on the following Monday.
Which hood are you referring to? I don't see any other Camaro hood on the site other than the WS6 Ram Air hood and that is not listed at $595 rather it is listed at $445 (Just hood)
The GP is for the WS6 style "Ram Air" hood for Camaros. THe GP is for the functional hood and I assume it comes as it shows on their site, with grills and decals. I just checked their website and right now they show it on sale for $495. The hood that's for sale for $445 is the non functional one. So if you were to get in on the purchase then we would have 5 and be able to get the more expensive package for the price of the cheapes one!! You know you want one!!!

well u could be number six which would put us one closer to 10 but yea I understand that money is tight...just let me know when/if u want in. This post isnt goin anywhere for a while so u have sometime. Oh and yes the end of the GP is on the 13th.
well due to a bitch *** cop saying i was doing 51 in a 35 when i was behind a car pacing it.... (my speedometer cable broke saturday) I was on my way to get the damn cable! he wouldnt show me the radar though.. and it was in a turn so its not accurate but because i drive a nice car instead of the beater ford in front of me i get a ticket. there was a couple kids killed here a couple weeks ago in an eclipse and a honda so they are cracking down on teens. just because it was a camaro. anyways the point of this post is that ill see after the 3rd when i go to court to fight it whether i still have the money or not..
well tomorrow im supposed to change intake manifold gaskets and a tranmission pan gasket and filter on a 2.8 camaro. he said he'd give me 300 + parts so i may be in on it yet! hopefully my luck will get better. im just pissed cause my last ticket from when i was 17 drops off in may i dont want the points on my license or insurance thats why im fighting it. i think the RAII hood will look sweet with my firebird side mirrors and shaved door handles and locks, antenna and gas cap. btw redraif if you read this your awesome! You do the things i wondered if they'd work. lol

That sorta happened to me once. At the time, my old Monte just had no speedo, well, hooked up anyways. I was cruising down a fairly busy street at "rush minute" and I even saw the hog patrol way ahead running radar. I just kept creeping along with the flow, I KNOW I was not going faster than 40 in a 35. Well, of all the cars around, and there were plenty, they chose to stop me!!! They as well refused to show me the radar saying that "it was not my business". I was pretty pissed. I decided to fight the ticket and to my luck I won. The cop didn't show up to court, maybe he knew he would lose, or maybe he just liked my car and that's why he pulled me over, to check out.
well after some bad luck with my friend being out of town he cant write me a reciepot saying he did a speedometer cable swap for me, hes in daytona for bike week.... well if i take them my old cable in as evidence and what not plus my reciepts i may be able to win im gonna find the cheapest way to get through it if my ticket is cheap ill just pay it, if they try to charge me court cost anyway im gonna fight it.
BTW sorry to highjack the thread.... but i am still very interested ill let you know in the next few days if i do have the money.

I wish i could i let a buddy of mine borrow my rockford he2's when i lost my license when i was 16 and they got stolen out of his car hes owed me $450 for 3 years. he gave me $20.... and my cousin borrowed $300 about a year and a half ago to rebuild his moms computer he blew up. so thers $720..... i wish i was a bank.... interest would be awesome go ahead and put me on the list ill get it one way or another... any ladies need an escort? any guys need a bodyguard? Im for hire

just dont hate me if i have to drop out. oh yeah went to court today... plead no contest, basically im not saying im guilty but i cant prove im innocent. i told him my side he let me go with court cost.
They paint the hoods for the newer cars, just because our paint is so old that it wouldnt match very well. So they dont offer paint on these hoods. I know I have it posted but they dont offer it for us.
i have new paint.... eh oh well its gonna get painted another color in the near future after i get the 383 done and in. then ill be putting it to alot of use eh well i'll go gather some money.
