Good question...I took mine out long ago. I believe it will cuz the ac lines go around the side of the rad dont they? And the condensor goes up against the rad. You will need to add a tranny cooler if you have an automatic as there are no provisions for tranny lines or heater core lines on the aluminum rad.

Find this guy on e-bay, even if he does not have a thirdgen rad listed at the moment
radman1953
Custom made alum. rads for ANYTHING!
Mine included OEM type tranny cooler + heater hose connections
Way cheaper than anything else I found! excellent fit --quality --price-- communication-- 100% positive feedback on e-bay--TOTALLY positive transaction/experiance for me! Highly recommended!
I am one of the most critical people you will find on this board and I usually don not recommend many things to people, but I was totally impressed with this guy from start to finish!
slight mod to top support as all thicker aftermarket rads require. rest of it was drop in.

I just bought a Brand New Griffin Radiator from a guy off Ebay for $149.00 with $10.00 shipping total $159.00. Give him a try if you are looking for a Radiator. It comes new in Griffin box and instruction no second blemish.... Griffin Radiator
I use the griffen 31x19 universal too, works fine, a/c blows cool, just had to modify the plastic upper mount a bit.. keeps the engine at 170 on HOT days..

That's a single 1.25" core version. The one most people get is the dual 1" core version for $189 from Summit.
Just a heads up, not all Griffens are the same, you can get them any way you want them. You can also ask for tripple 1.25" core but that's overkill.
The dual 1.25" core version will require custom upper and lower mounts in a 3rd gen.
my lower mounts were fine for the dual core version, it just snugged right in on top of the stock rubber mounts.. it was the upper shroud that required some trimming..

You must have the dual 1" core, not the dual 1.25" core version. That's why you were able to trim a little and make the stock mounts work.
Trust me, you cannot use the stock mounts with the dual 1.25" core version.
Yep
you are correct I have the two rows of 1 in. diameter tubing, but that combine with my 180* thermostat, and Stewart Water Pump Stage Two aluminum it should keep my SBC 400 cool.
The two row 1.25 is about $259.00 from summit.

yep, I will eat my crow on that one.. thought it was the dual 1.25 but it is the dual 1".. it does keep a 370 odd rwhp LT1 nice and chilly though..
