Car: 86-FireBird Engine: -MPFI Transmission: T5 Axle/Gears: 3:42 | Lincoln Electric Flux Core MIG Wire SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lincoln Electric Flux Core MIG Wire SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder Walmart was selling off their entire stock of LE products.
The cheap Harborfreight.com wire works 100% better.
LE stuff seam to be all flux and no steel. I seam to be welding twice as long and I am welding some parts twice.
I get small pockets or holes of scale. That I then need to clean out, grind and re-weld.
I never had a problem like this before with any other wire.
I don't like welding things twice.
Lincoln Electric from my work shop.
I also avoid Forney wire. Its not bad but it burns up fast.
You gotta double the feed speed to get a good flow. | | |
