Dont Buy Corbeau GTS Seats

Hey everyone, i recently bought a set of Corbeau GTS racing seats. I loved the style and the fact that the brackets rasied you up about an inch or two in the car. But they have the worst material ever. My seats are 9 months old and went from black to purple, so buyer beware!!

apc seats aren't that great either. i wanted the corbeau seats but they were a little pricey compared to the apc seats i got. the material on the apc's are crap. everytime i get into the car i think i am going to rip the material on them.

Yeah the Corbeaus are pretty pricey for a low quality seat. The fabric isn't oem quality at all. If you want that kind of quality you have to buy Sparco, Cobra, or Recaro. Which means you'll be spending anywhere between $600-1000 per seat.

I would suggest Flo Fit seats. I have a set in my GTA that I bought used, and they've been in the car for well over a year now and still look great. They've got some of the sturdiest frames of any seat out there, and so far they seem to be very durable, and by far the most comfortable seats I've used.

my only complaint with the seats are that they are not durable, They are very comfortable and the frames are made well, so i love the seats just not the fabric

Ugh, I hate when black material fades. The sun is killer...I've had to replace the "tarp" or whatever it's called in the back of the car because of this.

Will racing style seats fit into a thirdgen? I was looking at Summit Racing Seats (all black, look like the apc F1 seats) and was worried about them making me sit to high up (i'm 6 foot 2)

you maybe a little tall for aftermarket seat brackets but you can make your factory ones work, just try a search, i know someone has done it before. BTW, Corbeau just sent me new cloth for my seats!! But now i have to spend my money to get someone to put it on, well maybe

im gonna try and make them pay to put the new covers on just need to call them, and DanTheMan im 5'10 and my head is about 2 or 3 inches from the T-top, what you need to do is modify your stock seat brackets to work instead of ordering the custom ones
and for pics i erased the ones i had to send to corbeau i will post some up in the next couple of day though

I just got a "leatherette" one from the junk yard, cleaned it up. Looks brand new. 10 bux well spent.
