HEADLIGHTS NOT WORKING

So I go to turn on my headlights after I got out of work and they don't turn on. The Parking lights work. This is not the first time this has happened. Sometimes I'll go out and they wont turn on. Ill go out and try a few minutes later or even the next morning and everything is working fine and dandy. What the hell could this be? I had a new Light switch/knob installed on the dash and that seemed to fix the problem ( at least for a couple months), but now the problem has resurfaced. Does anybody ever heard of this or even experienced it? It's really frustrating because I don't know what's causing it and I never know when they will not work.

The bushings inside the motors are crap and break apart over the years. TDS sells a delux rebuild kit for about $20bux and it works great, I would recomend rebuilding the motors with the kit.

I forgot to mention I have a 91 camaro RS. I don't have motors on my lights. The lights simply don't work sometimes. The next day they might be working fine.

Check your connections. There is probably a loose wire somewhere.

It has to be something with the wires or their connections.

I think your in the wrong category, but yes check your wireing & also there is a relay in the fuse box for the lamps. If the relay is tripping on there may be a short somewhere. After the relay cools off it will reset & your lamps will work again.
