question on shifters

i want to get this one of the other one for my car

V-MATIC 2 CONSOLE SHIFTER
Hurst heavy duty V-Matic 2 Automatic Shifter factory console model - get the look of a manual 4-speed with the built-in strength for street performance
or all-out racing. Topped with brushed aluminum Hurst T-handle

That competition 4-speed look for your automatic.
The cable-operated B&M Megashifters have reliable ratchet action and a competition 4-speed look that complements any vehicle. With a reverse lockout and neutral safety switch, the Megashifters meet NHRA and IHRA requirements. They include a lighted gear indicator, a polished aluminum T-handle, cable, hardware, and console

i was told the top one was better, then the bottom one

I would get the Hurst over a B&M. Hurst cables have always seemed better qualtity to me. I also think that they make better qualtity shifters.
