Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with these fuel pumps. I'm just looking for complete reliability, I don't care that it's cheaper than the walbro. Any input is appreciated. thanks
I bought one and installed it in my rs for my hell t one swap. It works just fine. I think it has a 1 year warranty too. It comes with everything to install it too. I reccomend it to my friend for his ls1.
Thanks, I was wondering if it came with everything, because the kits said sometimes everything isn't included. I might try it, the warranty sounds good.
i bought one for my achieva, tested flow and it flows just as good as they say. price is good, and has a warranty. dont have much time on it yet, but its my dd car once it gets goin, so well see how good it is

I was about to install the fuel pump today, but I just noticed the hose it came with isn't like the one pictured on their website. Mine is clear and more than twice as long as the one pictured. It also says that you might have to reuse the stock hose. I guess i'll just reuse the stock one, but it's not a hose. I don't know what to call it. thanks guys
Well, I got the tank out. I'm disappointed with TRE. It didn't come with circle gasket at the top of the tank, the wrong hose, and no instructions.
I had an old pickup lying around from my iroc, and i'm going to use the connector from that to connect the pump the the metal line. The firebird pickup had a hose, but the hose was in bad shape, so I can't reuse it. I hope i'm not making a mistake by using the connector, it looks like a rectangular box, made of metal and plastic, it can be opened, but I didn't try. I would've opened it but I don't want to break it. That's the only thing that makes me nervous.
Turns out I was able to bend the hose, I didn't think it was meant to be bent in a full circle, then the strainer wouldn't fit with the rubber insulator in place. The nipple on the outlet of the pump fell off also. I'm not happy with this company. I should've went with wallbro, even if the pump failed within a year, I wouldn't put another in. I also had to open up hole for the base support so the strainer would fit on. It might not be a big deal to some, but it was to me.
