Edelbrock TES headers

Does anyone have them installed on their car? i've been meaning to ask for awhile but does anyone notice like a whistling noise coming from the exhaust? Ive checked for leaks and none found. i can really notice the noise when i open the cut out which is right after the y pipe. it's kinda like a choo choo sound with every exhaust pulse. idk if it's because of the design of the y pipe or what but it's strange. thanx

Re: Edelbrock TES headers

Once I had a similar noise, it was coming from the AIR check valve on the passenger side header. Replaced check valve, noise gone. Nothing to do with my Edelbrock TES, though.

Re: Edelbrock TES headers

Could be the AIR tubes inside the primary tubes. When I had mine the AIR tubes stuck out into the airflow of the exhaust, some were 1/2 long inside the tubes!! I ended up taking a Dremel and grinded them out.
