GM ZZ383

Has anyone installed one of the GM Performance ZZ383's in their car? It is 425hp and can use either a carb or fuel injection setup. I am considering one of these engines for my 86 as I blew the stocker engine last week(swallowed a valve). I am looking for any advice and info on this particular engine. Thanks, Badman

Re: GM ZZ383

The ZZ383 with the fastburn heads requires a Vortec style intake I believe.

Re: GM ZZ383

I was checking that one out, too. It looks like a great match for a 3rd gen on paper. Lots of torque, and great horsepower too. Oldtimer.
