Car: '91 t-top RS; '91 hrdtp Z28 Engine: LO3;383tpi Transmission: 700r4;very nice 700r4 Axle/Gears: 4.10 zt posi, 3.70 auburn | Re: Rear Ends You may need to get the sway bar bushings as well. How much hp do you intend to make with that 350 and what kind of gear do you plan on running on what kind of tires. Keep in mind that a factory 3.42 outta a fourth gen will take a descent amount of abuse. My '99 m6 TA is making over 400HP and 365 ft/lbs at the wheels (on a mustang dyno too, probably over 430rwhp on a dynojet). I've ran it on the street a few times with th BFG street slicks, but most of the time on the street tiores. Quite a few guys run good time on the stock ten bolt 3.42 as far as 4th gens are concerned-it's once you start gearing 3.73, 4.10, etc the thinner teeth tend to shear. Just something to keep in mind |
