Holley HP 82751 DP VS Edelbrock 1411

WOW about sums it up. Switched from the edelbrock because it just would not supply enough fuel for my combo, i actually removed the rear jets, and put 413s up front, with one of the smallest rods you can get in power mode, and the car would still run lean at 15.0 a/f.

Slapped the Holley on, added some fuel to the idle, and bumped the idle up a bit for 800 in gear, and made pass... I was shocked. Car ran awesome. A/F was right at 12.5-12.7 at WOT, with a slight bog when transitioning to the secondaries, but the car ran way better, and smoother cruising around then before. Cruise is way rich, at high 11's, but better then the 15-17 i was getting.

No track passes yet, but i never really got a clean run out of the edelbrock at the track either. I know this, street tires are a waste any gear/any speed lol. 3rd gear at 50mph, mash the gas, car would still spin.

Cold starting with the HP main body takes some getting used to, but isnt horrible, or impossible, car runs better cold after 30secs of running then the electric choke edelbrock did, go figure lol.
