I tried installing these on my 87 GTA with a 9 bolt rear end, and halfway through it, I noticed that the LCA was nowhere near matching up to the lower holes on the bracket.
I called UMI and told them the problem, and ended up getting told that the bolt on versions dont fit 9 bolt rear ends.......
This sucks hardcore, I bought these with the intention of installing these myself then going to have them welded in somewhere.
If you have the STOCK 9 bolt rear end, these will not fit.

I just got mine today, but i havent tried to install yet. I dont see why they wouldnt work, I changed my 10 to a 9 everything swapped out. I wont be able to get to them till thur, but i will see if mine bolt up

When I tried to swing the LCA up to the bracket to put the bolt in, I couldn't even see the holes, it was as if the LCA was too long.
That means the rear end has shifted backwards, this is common. I spoke with Jerry about this (the guy you talked to) and Jerry didn't think the brackets would fit the 9-Bolt. He did the best he could with the little bit of knowledge he has on the 9-Bolt rear end.
If the control arm holes won't line up that is not the bracket but just a case of the rear end shifting back wards or forward. This will make the control arm appear to short or to long. It sounds like you almost got them on. Post some pictures if you can and I will be glad to help.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but i just installed mine, and they went on like butter. I will have it up in the air until tom afternoon ( buddy is balancing my tires for me) if you want some pics.

did you ever get those to fit?? I just put mine on today and i switched from a 10 to a 9 bolt. the relocation brackets were a pain in the nuts and so were the LCA's but i actually spent about 20 minutes. i have it on a frame lift about a foot off the ground and to wedge the LCA's in the brackets good i used a floor jack and they popped right in. then its going to take some good ol strenght to shake em back and fourth and get them to line up, and presto. that should do it..
