Holley stealth ram

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&pcid=177#S281

Has anybody used this? I'm thinking about getting the manifold, base, and fuel rails, then getting slp runners. I was just wondering if its really worth it before i kick out the 500+ bucks.
Thanks

Stealthram is a completely different intake, will not work with ANY tpi parts. About the only parts you get to keep are your sensors, throttle body, injectors and thermostat. Everything else. Full swap is about $650 parts. You'll lose about 20lb/ft in the mid-range, but after 4,000rpm it'll shine all the way till about 5500rpm on a stock L98. By the time you hit 5500 you should be almost 100hp up on the TPI, a much flatter torque curve with more power on top. Similar to a stock LT1's powerband.

Read this forum, or search for the terms HSR or Holley Stealth Ram
http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/al...t-efi-intakes/

Or visit www.stealthram.com

The HSR will provide more gains for cheaper than any TPI based system out there. Fitment under a Firebird/TransAm hood is not easy, and impossible with Poly engine mounts.

If you can wait a few months you should consider the new BBK TPI intake thats coming out, it should start appearing in magazine catalogs soon, MSRP is expected to be about $699.

The HSR fit under my GTA's hood with stock rubber mounts, but they were the original factory mounts i'm sure. With new rubber mounts the engine would have sat even higher.

Here's a swap thread - http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/al...ealth-ram.html (My Holley Stealth Ram swap)
