is it worth it

ive just brought a Holley Carb 600 CFM Four Barrel,an eldebrock proformer intake maniflod,headman headers,y pipe,cherry bomb pro muffler and a streetfire hei distributor for 500 pounds is that a good deal and what performace would i see i have a 1987 camaro 305 auto

you will get good performance but maybe not what you are thinking. Until you get into a 350 and start camming and good rear end you will really feel the difference.

If you have a good running carb on it now, I wouldnt expect to see much of an improvement in HP. You really havent touched the bottleneck, or weak point of the car. Headers and full exhaust should really be the first step on any thirdgen. As far as intake, I have found little to no improvement unless you have upgraded something below it. Cam, rockers, heads, etc.
