summits springs? lower about 1" front and rear and have rates close to the prokits.... from what ive heard (aka ppl calling summit and asking the tech) supposidly they are ebachs that dont pass final inspection.
prokits=1"drop front and rear. 714lbin front rate and 100-160lbin proggressive rear rate
sportlines= 1.7" drop front , 1.3" drop rear. 700lbin front rate/80-130lb proggressvive rear rate
hotchkins= 1"drop front and rear. rates are lower than the prokits supposidly. some say 600-650 front and who knows about the rears.
global west sells front springs that are in the 800 range. but its just the fronts. they have 3 different types. not sure which one is above 800 but im sure at least 1 is. prob the competition, i would call them and ask.
HOWDY!! i just recently installed eibach pro-kit on my 86 Iroc. and YES TOTALLY HAPPY!!! Like CUSTOMBLACKBIRD said with the lowering rate is acurate. make sure u get an adjustable panhard rod to go with your project. that way your rear-end is inline with the rest of your setup. IM COMPLETELY HAPPY with what i did to my Iroc. handle 100% better

Thanks for the info!
I already have an adjustable panhard rod.
Specifically what I am looking for are non-progressive rate springs, over 800lb in.
I'll give global west a call, maybe I'll be able to end my search there, but I'm not in really in any hurry.
All the eibach springs are progressive rate springs, correct?
I went with the Tenzo R set, and Im not as happy as id like to be. My stock springs were so wore out that the "lowering sprimgs" didnt make that much diffrence at all. The car rides better but the wheel well gap pisses me off. My buddies make fun of me all the time, saying i got the "skyjacker" lowering springs for my camaro.

Well in my opinion the car looks pretty good. Me personally im not into low profile tires. My car looks pretty damn good with the stock p245 50 r16 on them stock rims. Yes you can notice a difference in the way it looks. When you put those skinny little tires on your car then the gap in the fender well is gonna be wider and make it look NOT so lowered. My personal opinion. get rid of those tires.

I totally agree with 1986IROC350, your tires just don't fill up the fender wells either up and down or front to back, they look wimpy. Options are to go with a larger diameter wheel to run the low profiles, or just ditch the super low profile tires for a regular 50 series, you will gain ground clearance and fill your fenderwells at the same time, so the car will actually look lower with beefier tires.

It looks like you should get higher profile tires, then cut the springs you have to maintain the same ride height, and that will fill the gap around the wheels better.
I went with the Eibach Sport Line and was terrified that I might hate the ride after. But I've no compaints and our roads here are total crap. Some might say that the difference in how the car looks between pro and sport is subtle but it is noticable. The sport lines give the car a more agressive stance.
Don't forget though, after lowering a car nearly 2" stock shocks won't be doing all that much. Better to upgrade to Tokikos, Bilsteins etc.
I went with Eibach pro-kit. Lowered my car about 1 inch or so but kept the Factory tires and rims. I feel that if you are gonna have an IROC, the way to go is to have the factory rims to sport it around. Those factory rims STAND OUT ANYWHERE!! In the process of painting my car and doing upgrades i cant believe how many compliments i got on just the factory rims alone. even though the car looked like crap being primered and everything else. I got alot of compliments on the rims. Even had some guy offer me 1000.00 for the rims alone. probably should have took it but. i kept to my word that i would NOT sell them to anyone no matter the price. they are getting harder to find a decent set.
