Re: Speed demon carb!?

quick fuel is a much better choice. Demon carbs have casting issues and their quality control sucks. A few still have machining shavings in their carbs.

Although I can agree Quick Fuel is a better carb out of the box (as far as drop it on and go), I like my Demon if you know how to set a carb up for your car. Bought mine back in '99 and have had no problems aside from tuning it to match my combo. The casting issues and QC has improved greatly since the problems they had years ago that everyone seems to spit out when Demons come up. I have installed a few Demons over the last couple years and have had none with crap in them. Depends on your tuning skill, can you tune a carb? Or do you want a plug and play unit?
